Top Ten Tuesday | The Ten Most Recent Additions to My TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

Helloooooooo! (Yeahhhhh! *shout out Binge Mode HP*) My first Top Ten Tuesday! I’m super excited to join the many, many other book bloggers that participate in this meme every week! I think it’s such a fun idea and a great way to connect with other bloggers. Now, I’m not gonna kid myself and say that I’ll be doing this every single week. There may be moments when I skip weeks at a time. I can already tell you that I’m skipping next week’s topic- there’s just some weeks that I won’t feel like I have much to contribute to that particular topic and that’s totally fine! With that said, I am really excited about this new feature on my blog! So first up- here’s my ten most recent additions to my to-be-read list 🙂

Galatea by Madeline Miller
Need to read this to complete the trio of Madeline Miller books! The Kindle edition is pretty cheap, so I’ll probably pick this up soon.

A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi
I’ve been reading so many great things about this book, and though I didn’t particularly like the Shatter Me series, I think I’ll give it a shot!

The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh
I LOVED The Wrath and the Dawn duology so when I saw Renée Ahdieh plus VAMPIRES?!?!? Sold. Yes. Take my money.

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal
I’ve seen good things about this one too and the synopsis sounds pretty interesting… do I sense an enemies to lovers trope perhaps…? 😉

Sadie by Courtney Summers
Most of my recent adds have been because I’ve read great reviews about them on twitter, and this is also true for this book!

Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab

OK, I still have City of Ghosts sitting on my bookshelf, unread. I KNOW I KNOW. I’m gonna try to read it maybe next month. But it’s Victoria Schwab and I will buy literally anything she ever writes.

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
Another saw-good-things-on-twitter book.

Bibliophile: An Illustrated Miscellany by Jane Mount
I adore Jane Mount’s little book pins and art prints, so I really want to get this book of illustrations! Her work is so gorgeous.

I’ll Be There for You: The One about Friends by Kelsey Miller
I’m a huge Friends fan and I just think this book would be a fun read.

Becoming by Michelle Obama
DUH. The library wait list is so long for this. But I will read it eventually.

That’s my top 10! Any other good books I should add to my TBR?

  1. Great post!

I kept hearing so many good things about Sadie last year. Definitely a book I hope to read this year for sure. My favorite book read of last year was YOU by Caroline Kepnes. I read it before I watched the TV Series and it was seriously perfectly adapted. A definite recommend if you like thrillers.
