This is a fun tag that I discovered on Between The Shelves!
Find a book for each of your initials:
King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo
Endure by Carrie Jones
Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
Count your age along your bookshelf: what book is it?
The 22nd book on my rainbow shelf is The Perks of Being A Wallflower! 🙂
Pick a book set in your city/country
Absolutely no book ever has been set in my actual city, because it’s super small and no one knows about it, haha. BUT The Trials of Apollo series has been set throughout the Bay Area, and there’s been way more mentions of things I actually have seen and know than any other book I’ve read.
Pick a book that represents a destination you want to travel
Ah geez, back to back Percy Jackson answers. Sorry, lol. GREECE! I want to go to Greece so badly.
Pick a book that’s your favorite color
It’s blue, so The Song of Achilles!
Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
I want to be able to say Harry Potter for this, but it’s a tragic fact that I actually have next to no memories of my first time reading HP. The ONLY thing I somewhat remember is a hazy image of turning to the first page of The Prince’s Tale in my room late at night while I was finishing Deathly Hallows. That’s it. SO, my honest answer would actually probably be one of my favorite series in middle school, which was Need by Carrie Jones. I read them all and got my then-best-friend to read them, too and I can remember a lot about bonding with her over them.
Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
Most recently, Strange the Dreamer, which I was really disappointed about. It took me so long to read and it was super hard to find motivation to read it. 😦 I did finish eventually though!
Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?
I’ve had two art books on my TBR for YEARS now because they’re really hard to find and one of them is out of print completely: The Story of Pixar Animation Studios and The Art of Hercules. I’ll have to shell out some serious cash for the Hercules book, and I just haven’t been willing to pull the trigger yet. I hopefully will someday soon, though.
